... a pilot with musical dedication!!!

Berlin-born in 1965 as Andre Schmidt.
In “real” life living in Germany, employed as a Captain on the Jumbo - the Boeing 747 - at Germany's largest airline.

Technical job – musical passion: since the early days not only bent for aircraft, but also for rock music! Influenced by the "New Wave Of British Heavy Metal" in the early 80-s with bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Saxon, Demon, Tygers of Pan Tang, UFO... ...

Next to my job as an arline pilot I throughout the decades stuck to this kind of music and its bands, played drums, shouted in several bands and eventually started to write and produce own material.

Rock music is no longer only for youngsters, as acts like Judas Priest, Metallica or the Stones show, members of which sometimes got "long in the tooth"... but stayed young - perhaps because of the music!
After my first album "Rooftop Sessions", released in 2014, the EP "News From The Roof" from 2017, the interim-single "Reset 2020" from 2020 now consequently the actual production

"System Reset" !

All productions are the result of quiet some hours of work and fun in my recording studio in the attic under the roof! The lineup is the typical one for rockbands, with one particular feature though: everything is done off my own bat - written, played, recorded and produced track by track. The Sound as well is kept with my devotion to the good old times of the retro- and vintage rock of the late 70’s, early 80's and was polished up only very little.

The lyrics are partially highly up-to-date like the track "System Reset", related to the current changes in the World!
Due to the "one-man show", though no live performances as well as appearances in social media like Instagram or Facebook are possible, since every single instrument or vocal part has to be composed and practised individually. All this takes quiet some time... The only exemption from this is my videochannel on YouTube - check it out!
